Jan K. Apo

Jan K. Apo is the Owner and lead attorney of the Law Offices of Jan K. Apo.  Mr. Apo was born on Maui and attended High School at Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu, Oahu. He then went on to attain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Whittier College in California. After graduating from the William. S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii, Mr. Apo worked as a trial lawyer for a large government office and later became the managing partner for a mid-size private law firm.  In 1994, Mr. Apo started his own practice, the Law Offices of Jan K. Apo. In addition to his admittance to the Hawaii State and Federal Court, Jan K. Apo is certified to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. He has also served as a Per Diem District Court Judge of the Second Circuit Court, State of Hawaii. After 19 years of service, he has recently stepped down from the bench and no longer serves as a part time Judge.
Mark D. Reck

Mark D. Reck

Mark Reck is an Associate Attorney who joined the Law Offices of Jan K. Apo in 2010. A graduate of the Stetson University College of Law, located in Gulfport, Florida, Mr. Reck also holds an MBA from Stetson University. In addition, he is a registered Notary Public for the State of Hawaii and a Certified Mediator for Maui Mediation Services. Mark is great asset to our firm and prides himself on servicing our clients' legal needs with integrity and professionalism from start to finish.
Naomi M. Kusachi

Naomi M. Kusachi

Naomi M. Kusachi joined The Law Offices of Jan K. Apo in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kusachi practiced in Honolulu, Hawaii and worked as a staff attorney at a non-profit legal services organization following her graduation from law school. Ms. Kusachi received her undergraduate degree with honors in English and American Studies in 2010. Ms. Kusachi earned her J.D. in 2013 from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii. During law school, Ms. Kusachi worked as an Americorps member at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii where she participated in the creation of the Honolulu District Court Access to Justice Room. In 2013, Ms. Kusachi served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable R. Mark Browning of the Family Court, State of Hawaii and went on to work as a law clerk at a private law firm. Ms. Kusachi is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts of Hawaii and California, State Courts of Hawaii, and State Courts of California.
