Frequently Asked Questions

          1.  Is there a charge for the initial consultation?

No.  It has always been my policy that clients do not pay a fee until after we have fully discussed the specific fee arrangement.  No one will be charged for the contacting phone call or initial consultation.

          2.  What are your fees? 

        Generally speaking, we will handle all personal injury and wrongful death claims on a contingency basis.  This means that we do not get paid unless there is a recovery in the case.  Our contingent fee will be 33 1/3% of the recovery in addition to any litigation expenses that I pay on the client’s behalf.  Such expenses would include filing fees, fees for medical records, deposition transcript expenses and expert witness fees. 

        Most commercial or business cases are handled on an hourly basis with a requested retainer. The amount of the retainer varies depending on the anticipated duration and complexity of the case.
