Areas of Practice

Our law firm is primarily focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury and wrongful death cases. I have handled catastrophic injuries and death claims resulting from auto accidents, aircraft crashes, and various product liability claims. I have successfully pursued product liability claims involving defective (exploding) gas tanks and defective seat belts against international auto manufacturers. Most recently, my office successfully completed a complex product liability claim relating to jet skis and jet ski rental operations. Bottom line is that I have handled over a thousand injury cases which has taken me to almost every courtroom in the State of Hawaii, including the Supreme Court and the Federal District Court in Honolulu. I am also certified to practice and have argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
 
In addition to personal injury matters, we continually represent clients in commercial litigation and general business matters. Such cases have involved contract disputes, partnership dissolutions, commercial fraud and lease negotiations. We also represent business clients in the formation of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.

Our past real estate litigation cases involved easement disputes, quiet title actions and breach of contract claims relating to the buying and selling of real estate.

Our client base is spread throughout the world. In addition to serving the residents of Hawaii, we have continually represented visitors who have unfortunately incurred injuries during their vacation here. I also serve as local counsel for several mainland law firms and corporations who are engaged in litigation in Hawaii.
